Pros: The staff were very friendly. Yuri, in particular, was very nice. He is definitely helpful in figuring out how to get around the island, and also how to get to wherever you are going after Ometepe. The on-site restaurant with breakfast included in the price was nice. I liked the remoteness of the location; it was quite peaceful. The shared bathroom facilities were nice and clean. The room was reasonably clean.
Cons: It was a bit overpriced for what it was. The dual occupancy room is essentially a private hostel room, which was fine, but not for that price relative to other options on the island. The staff connected me with a person to rent scooters from, but quoted me a high price, so I had to do some negotiating with him, and then he in turn "negotiated" with his friend. It would have been nice if the staff let me know what a reasonable price was in the first place. There is no A/C, if that's a priority for you, but this is common in Nicaragua. More
