Monasteries in Romania are pretty uniform; inside the fort there is always a church, but this monastery has ample doors that are not alike and they were made with advanced craftsmanship skills (see photographs). I also got to see some monks on site and there was a tasty and cold water well between the entrance and the inside church on the field near the gift shop.

The peacefull of the monastery and nun was great. The lake near the monastery invite you to meditation with yourself.

We travelled by bicycle from Suceava. Approximately 2,5 hours. Dragomirna monastry is extremely beautiful place with unique church inside, friendly nuns and possibility to stay in the nearby camping. Its work till 8pm. We had not time to make hiking around but i think it pretty nice. We didnt see the lake which usually on photoesof this monastery. It not exist any more. There is a forest road to Patrauci not accessible for cars. Only 6 km pleasant walk or ride.
We bought in the monastery testy syrope and creams which are done by nuns.
Entrance fee was 1,5 USD pp. Photo and video 1,5 USD more.
All in local currency. No place for changing. We didn't see restaurants or cafe by the way. The only place we saw was camping with basic shop and small restaurant. But we didn't eat there. There are some pansions near but we didn't saw them.

baroque church, with very nice stone decorations (something similar could be seen to Trei Ierarhi Church in Iasi)
church with incredible high for such a narrow building
impressive defense walls
but beyond the architecture, a feeling of peace could appear, and this is really good
it really worth a detour

Dragomirna Monstaries one of the hidden gems of Bucovina. A unique monastery due to its architecture: the ratio between hight and width is so high that is almost unbelievable that the construction didn't colapse. Beautiful elements of stonecraft.
It is worth a detour.
