My husband and I stayed at Maya for 3 nights on our honeymoon at the beginning of December. We were lucky enough to be the only guests staying and so had the entire place to ourselves which was a real treat! From the minute we arrived we felt so at home, due to Silva's warm welcome and the whole teams attentiveness. The food is wonderful and our room was very comfortable. Maya is such a peaceful and relaxing place, set amongst paddy fields with the most beautiful nature surrounding you. We couldn't have asked for anything more from Silva and his team, who made us feel truly spoilt, even arranging a private tuk tuk tour around surrounding Tangalle. We can't thank you enough and hope to return someday in the future! THANK YOU!

We had a beautiful stay at Maya thanks to not only the unbelievably relaxed setting but the outstanding staff team there. From the moment we walked in we knew we would love it. A huge garden scattered with hammocks and deckchairs plus the yoga hut looking out into the fields! The pool, the breakfast and everything in between was perfect and we recommend a stay at Maya to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

My boyfriend and I stayed at beautiful Maya for two nights. We were lucky enough to have the Manor House completely to ourselves and the staff could not do enough for us. Before we arrived, unfortunately our driver got lost but the staff at Maya were incredible and came to meet us. Upon arrival, we immediately felt calm and relaxed. The setting and grounds are truly beautiful. The high tea over looking the beautiful rice paddies at sunset was a real special moment. Generally, the food throughout our stay was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. We would highly recommend Maya.

My husband and two children absolutely loved Maya. The place is magical and from the moment we entered the gates we felt as though we had entered another dimension full of beauty and peace.
Everything is stunning and we loved all the attention to every minor detail, from the room, to the table setting to the positioning of the chairs in the lush garden. The food was also exceptional especially the Sri Lankan dinner.
What really made our stay memorable though was the wonderful team at Maya led by Nuwan and Silva. They were always present but at the same time discreet. We never had to ask for anything as they already knew exactly what we needed. What will forever remain in our hearts was the cricket matched we all played together on a warm sunny afternoon. It was so amazing to see all the team together so united and letting us participate. The kids were enthusiastic. Of course the spectacular pool and lush gardens were also a very special treat.
We do hope to come back soon.

We spent only one night in this peaceful and stunning villa and we all wish we could have stayed longer! The villa is surrounded by the most amazing park with plenty of spots for seating, reading and relaxing, including a yoga shala overlooking the rice paddies. The L shaped pool blends in perfectly with the environment and makes for a a refreshing relief from the heat.
Mr Silva and his team organised the most delicious Sri Lankan family style dinner and breakfast was a treat as well.
Would go back in a heartbeat!
