All that you would want in a hotel

Dehli and Bloomrooms were the first stop on our 3-week India tour. The hotel was clean and conveniently located within walking distance of Connaught Circle and a number of shopping and dining options. Breakfast was free and delicious and there were lots of free snacks, soda water tea and coffee readily available. The rooms were big and clean with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. They helped us make all our site seeing plans for not only Delhi but Agra and Ranthambore. I would strongly recommend this one.

Located in a lane near the Connaught Circus area, I noticed more foreign tourists rather than domestic. Prices are a bit too high for the facilities. Maybe that is a reflection of the real estate prices.
Check in was smooth, but more suited to the present electronic age. The twin bed room was a huge disappointment as the beds were placed with both the occupants facing diagonally to each other. The head boards were common with beds on both sides. Only one window. Further, to access the bathroom, you had to climb one step up. As it was on the 2nd floor, hence stray dogs barking in the morning were disturbing.
The room was otherwise clean. The common snack area was good with healthy snacks placed along with a smattering of cans containing soda (whiskey?) and tonic (where was the gin?). Though, the huge expanse of hard floor in the room without much furniture did not contribute to a good feeling. Seemed grossly unfurnished. Had to request for a change in pillow but the mattress was not very comfortable.
There is no dedicated car parking. You need to leave it on the road, completely unattended. Try to park it in a slot just opposite to the hotel entrance so that it remains visible to the doorman. Which is really not saying much as he was not around all the time.
Breakfast was just about OK. Considering the prices, it could have been better. The idlis were a trifle hard and the vadas were under cooked. Sandwiches were not replenished.
Quite disappointed, though we had booked for 2 nights, we moved out after the first. Fortunately we had made two separate bookings so cancelled within the cancellation period. We had higher expectations based on the reviews.

Room tip: 1. Check out the beds configuration of a twin bedded room. 2. select a room away from the front, though the lane is pretty quiet.

Room was generally clean although some details missed such as marks on the mirror, rusty bin in bathroom. Bathroom was decent although a little small. The bed itself was very clean and comfortable for a good night's sleep. My room was on top floor and frequently there was a very loud banging noise from the roof even during the night. Assume it was machinery related to plumbing or air con. Breakfast provided was good and eggs were available for order as per requirements.

The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and a good shower.
Breakfast was good but basic, it’s enough to get you out.
There is access to a little area of free snacks and water on each floor, which was a nice touch.
The staff are nice and friendly, they even helped us get set up with some SIM cards.
Location is great, a 15 minute walk from Connaught Place.

BloomRooms at Janpath has all the things a traveller needs - Very comfortable beds, great shower, very clean rooms, Great location, and great breakfast. My husband and I are very picky as far as sleeping and we slept on these beds so comfortably! The food in the morning was very tasty and quite nutritious. There were several items to choose from and the chai was just divine - we didn't try the coffee but remember, North India is tea country, so you must have chai here. The rooms are very well designed and though not large, are sufficient with large comfy beds, a large mirror, a desk, a sofa (if you get a suite), couple of chairs to sit on, charging stations etc. The king bed is big and comfy and the comforters warm and fluffy. Every floor is supplied with some snacks, hot and cold water, and a variety of teas and drinks. A great experience staying here. You will not get " fancy luxury" but you will get a clean, comfortable room in a great walk to everything location - so basically you will get great value without compromising on what a traveler needs.

I stayed here with friends for 2 nights. The hotel reception were welcoming and kindly let us check in early after a long flight which was very much appreciated.

The room was basic, but the beds were comfortable and clean. I appreciated the powerful shower. (Think premier inn meets Travelodge). Lots of plug sockets for chargers.

The breakfast was the main weakness. It could do with more variety and better coffee. The other criticism was that the room could do with more soundproofing. The lack of soft furnishings and hard wood floors mean noise echoes from other rooms. This was not a major issue as guests were considerate but if you did have a noisy one next door it may be an issue.

The main selling point for this hotel was the travel desk. The man who ran it (apologies I forget his name) was very helpful. He organised drivers for us and when we had moved on to a different city even helped us organise Taj at Night experience. Really recommend using this service.

All in all I was relieved by staying here as it was a solid base to explore a new country and bustling vibrant city.

I would also recommend having dinner at the Shang Ri La. Fabulous food.

Room tip: Have dinner at the Shang Ri La
