It is a very nice and impressive temple to visit. The only not so good thing is that you cannot take pictures...

I am really surprised that this place gets such high ratings. I visited in the daytime so did not see the sound and light show or the fountains so take that into consideration as you read. Having visited the ancient and spiritual places in India this temple left me cold. There is a magnificent temple with exquisite architecture and intricate decoration - built about 12 years ago. Then surrounding it are all kinds of experiences introducing and explaining Hinduism - boat rides, shows (none on when I was there), gardens, informative panels and gardens. Granted the gardens are beautiful but compared to the choice of temples you could visit in Delhi this would not be my first choice. If you have seen the city and temples and still have time only then visit this place. We went on a Saturday when it was packed with locals and we waited about an hour in line. Sorry not much good to say about it - Disneyland with a Hindu theme - rather see the real thing and go to a temple without the bells and whistles.

You can take taxi to this Temple or Metro . Biggest disappointing thing after reaching there to know that camera / Mobile is not allowed . You have to fill a form and deposit all your belongings with camera and mobile phone at the deposit counter . Than pass thru a strict security . After reaching inside it was like a heaven , such beautiful gem piece of construction . two options here you can take the ticket to the Religious shows that will take your 2 hrs . If you are short of time than just visit the main temple and exit max 1 hrs . There are Temple Operated Restaurant inside the premises .they serve good food and nominal price .You may take a paid picture with you or family with main temple background . we spent almost 4 hrs seeing the temple / shows / eating at restaurant / buying natural medicines inside the Shop.

i have visited this place several times with my friends and family. This place is on of the peaceful places in delhi where u can find out some spiritual time for urself and educate ur dear ones on spiritual and religious books and stories through plays , short films. The best thing to see is the fountain show which can be seen in the evening . You can visit this temple easily as the nearest metro station is just walking distance away . You should have a full day to visit this place as its quite big nd needs time to visit every place and moreover once start involving urself in mythological stuff , you would never want to leave such place.
