Eleven Delhi was suggested to us when another place was full. Having not previously known about the place - we really couldn't have been happier with what we found.
Location was good - a quiet street in New Delhi close to major sights like Hummayun's Tomb and handy for Nizammudin train station for trips to Agra.
The room itself is cosy and clean, with ensuite bathroom - modern shower and toiletries, TV, even a plate of fruit. They literally had thought of everything...
There's a communal area with computer, free tea and coffee. Wi-fi throughout. Magazines. Even a mobile phone with a local number you can use - very useful when coming from overseas. There's a fridge with water and we were greeted with complimentary beers!!
The owner himself is so helpful, friendly but also chilled out. He went out of his way to get Agra train tickets for us because he was worried the train might book up - very kind indeed.
To sum up, very impressed with this place and would stay there again when I'm back in Delhi.
I live and work in Mumbai but had friends visiting so we made a trip to Delhi. I know the city quite already well. I do recommend to travellers that staying in a guesthouse in new Delhi is a much better option than staying in Old Delhi or going for an expensive hotel close to Connaught place. More
