We were amazed by the cost of hotels in Delhi and happened to notice the B&B section of TripAdvisor. We stayed 2 nights and found Ajay to be so so helpful. We had a fantastic time in Delhi and it made a huge difference returning to a clean, quiet and friendly guest house.

Thank you Ajay! Thoroughly reccomend this place to others.

After a seemingly endless over-night train journey from Udaipur to Nizamuddin (Delhi) we got onto the first auto rickshaw to the Eleven B&B in East Nizamuddin. We had booked directly through the website (www.elevendelhi.com) and always received prompt replies to my messages. None on the auto rickshaw drivers seemed to know where the B&B was although they would always automatically say they did, but they always got us there (after a couple of stops to ask the other drivers). We stayed here on our last night in India, and were not the biggest fans of Delhi due to our very unpleasant experiences at New Delhi Station at the start of the journey, but Eleven was situated in a clean and quiet district. The B&B itself was very clean, with pleasant and well equipped rooms run by the very friendly host Ajay. The owner Ajay was very attentive and gave us very helpful suggestions on places to eat and visit on our only day in Delhi. Although Eleven was slightly out of the city getting a rickshaw from outside the B&B was never a problem and it was in walking distance Humayun Tomb which was by far the best attraction in Delhi. We would defiantly return to this superb B&B the next time we are in Delhi.

Small family guest house in a quiet corner of Delhi, but also near busy Delhi and many of the attractions of the city: a little oasis amidst the turmoil of the city. Mr Anand is friendly and welcoming, as well as being well-organised. The service, from staff and family is courteous and efficient. You can have breakfast and order meals, which you have in a small dining room/kitchen. We had a slight problem finding the place initially, because the address is Nizamuddin East and it turned out that that is both the name of a street and of the district of the city. Phone Mr Anand and he will help you or your rickshaw or taxi driver to find the right house. Mr Anand has lots of contacts for services you may need and they know not to cheat you. These are people that Mr Anand himself can trust. It was the first few days of our first visit to India, and we found the Hotel Eleven experience really reassuring.

Eleven was one of the best places we stayed at while in India.
It is not cheap, but the owner makes up for that by being the most helpful host we had anywhere in India.
It is very quiet and clean and the location is great.

We booked Eleven based on previous Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a great place to stay, especially if you have just arrived in India, which can be a bit of a culture shock. What makes this place amazing is the owner, Ajay, who will go out of his way to help you in any way possible, and he does it with incredible honesty and integrity. Ajay took very good care of us, arranging transportation within Delhi for us, which was very well priced and did not take us "shopping" or "searching for commision".

Even more importantly, when Ajay heard that we were unable to book a couple of trains on our planned tour of Rajasthan, he connected us with a driver who ended up taking us on the most incredible real-deal back-country tour of Rajasthan for 10 days, and all of it at a price that was actually better then our initial plan of taking trains throughout and then one flight back from Udaipur.

Eleven is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Delhi. It's central and close to Humayun's Tomb but not really walking distance to anywhere else, which in Delhi is actually a plus, since the other main attractions are all in loud and chaotic places.

The B&B is clean and well equipped including AC and hot water as well as TV. There is free wi-fi internet. It is quiet and peaceful. My only minor complaint is the following: there were too many mosquitoes everywhere outside our room, including in the kitchen. However, Ajay made sure that there were none in our room, and overall, this is a minor complaint as we only came in contact with them during breakfast, which by the way, was included.

Overall, I would highly recommend this B&B and especially its owner, Ajay, who really took good care of us.
