Manoribel is a place near Mumbai. Feels like Mini Goa. I had a wonderful stay during my weekend here. Food is expensive but can be easily managed outside.. there are good restaurants opposite manoribel. you can get food from there.
Lush Green.. Beach is just few steps away.. Green.. Lots of activities to do.. TT, Badminton court, Plant Nursery, Etc.
Heavily recommended and a must visit. Book a beachside Cottage for better experience.

Room Tip: Beach Side Cottages are The Best

Been wanting to visit Manoribel for the last 2 years. Was able to in Jan this year. Its such a beautiful little property bang on the shores of the beach. The beach, though rocky, isnt bad either.

The property has little nooks and corners and a vegetable garden... you can spend some time exploring apart from spending time on the beach of course.

The food is really good. The only con is that the food takes a loooooong time to come after you place the order.
So if you think you will eat at 1pm, you need to place the order at 11.30am at the latest.

The best part about it is the distance from the city, especially the western suburbs. You can get there in an hour or a little more than that.
Recommend it abundantly.

This is a nice place if you want to get away from the hussle n bussle of the city life .It is located in Manori Village...you can get there by driving down or can also cross the creek at Marve and catch a bus, rickshaw or the traditional tongas. It is a very peaceful place to be with the family...lovely Ac rooms ...great food and on the beach. The only down side is they have not yet got a pool setup. Manoribel is a bit more expensive than the other properties around but its worth it. They have rooms and cottages aswell. Parking is available. Credit card is accepted.

Manoribel is a wonderful getaway from Mumbai and so close to the city. It is an enchanting property and right on the beach! The abundance of greenery surrounding this resort is really quite amazing...the palm trees, the casuarinas and the myriad flowers all around, make this an idyllic place. The ac cottages facing the sea, and the picturesque natural setting of the dining room, plus the great food available and the attentive staff make this an ideal destination.

Room Tip: Take one of the cottages facing the sea

Before I write the review elaborately...let me sum it up in one line.

Please visit Manoribel as soon as you can cause its going to sweep you off your expectations and throw you in lap of nature and breeze n serenity! And its 1.5 hours away from Mumbai !!

Do visit it soonest! You can thank me later:)

Positives ~ It unknots all your knots of mind, body and soul and surprises you with its lushness!

Negatives ~ None except the limited items on the menu cause they make everything fresh, on order. There is no room service and we loved going to dining are and eat under the canopy of nature!

Price ~ We were in AC cottages nearest to beach and it cost us about 3000 per person including the food of all three times and excluding drink. It worth the money and more. I have already strongly recommended it so many of my friends!

Its unbelievable the way it cocoons and envelops you with its lush and rich fauna and trees, elements of bounties of nature, coupled with a beautiful beach, peaceful environment and warm and smiling staff. You wouldn't want the day to end.

Despite the hot March sun when we started from Mumbai at 9am, we had reservations about the weather in Manori, but when we reached Manori, a cool breeze took over and instantly relaxed each muscle of the body.

The beach is clean, uncrowded, safe and addictive. Early morning and evenings you will be transported into a surreal, golden, lazy, glimmering dawn and dusk.

Swaying coconut trees, tree houses, machhan, sturdy huge hammocks, benches made of tree trunk, small huts with stone tables for a group to sit together is such a way that they all look part of nature, It curated for visitors comfort with making it look synthetic. The rawness of the place is intact.

The staff will put you at ease instantly. The menu is limited, we kind of liked that. We dint like the chicken curry as the pieces were big n tad more spicy, but egg curry, fish curry, daal, caramel custard are good and lipsmacking.

Rooms are simple but very clean and spacious and cool.We were in a AC cottages closest to beach - Cottage 4, 4A & 5 and it had its own courtyard to sip the wine or swig the beer!

The place simply unknots the knots.
it has what your soul and body needs and does not have any unwanted clutter.

Do visit it soonest! You can thank me later:)

Room Tip: Take cottages closest to the beach! Cottages 4,4A, 5, 5A
