The Trident's location can't really be beaten, looking right over the Arabian Sea from Nariman Point. It is very central for anything you need in that part of town - a few minutes to State Bank of India's head office, for example.
Staff are attentive, polite and very keen to go the extra mile. Some of them are in truly majestic uniforms as if they've just concluded a successful 18th century military campaign and are awaiting their medal presentation.
Rooms are fine, but one problem: very, very thin walls. At one stage I actually believed someone was in my bathroom. I could hear absolutely every word of every conversation that took place in the room next door and when they had the hairdryer running at six in the morning it was easily enough to wake me from another room.
That's the only problem. I was there for a conference for two days and the facilities and food for that were all fine. All in all, a good place.More
