Must Have - Butter Pepper Garlic Prawns / Fish Fry Surmai Masala / Chicken Ghee Roast / Balti Fish Curry ( Chef Special ) / Neer Dosa
Great food but at a price . The restruant is at the corner of Juhu before the famous old Centaur Hotel the food here is great and has a very friendly well informed staff . The only issue here is that the service here is slow but once your food is served it makes up for all the waiting . Overall a must visit place .

Me and some friends stayed in the JW Marriott on the same road as Mahesh Lunch Home, on our first night out we went into this restaurant just because it was in the same road as our hotel. Upon entering I was surprised with the decor which is upscale but also makes you feel comfortable which is hard to do with upscale looking establishments which usually feel more formal. We ordered the chicken platter which is an assortment of grilled chicken, tandoori, tikka, malai etc, the biryanis are seriously addictive. We ate here once a day for the rest of our stay, need I say more.

Feb 2 lunch: Cousins from Gujarat wanted to eat here - so no option but to tag along and have veg food at an iconic place for sea food. Tom Yum soup was spicy and tasted good. While the mushroom tikka was very good, the corn cheese balls weren't that good. Neer dosa and upam amongst other breads were as good. Not a bad place as such for veggies if one can stand the sight and smell that sea food lovers love.

The menu is vague and wouldn't suit anyone who has questions about the actual food. It seems more like a lounge bar where you can have intimate drinks and snacks than a restaurant.

There is only one toilet so be prepared to wait....for a while. There is a damp odour that hangs in the air and the seats are covered with an uncomfortable velvety upholstery.
