We stayed in room 3 for 3 nights. The room was a good size, fairly bright with one window (could've done with a curtain), clean sheets, fairly comfortable bed, desk and chair for painting and writing novels and had a fairly fresh lick of paint. However one BIG minus was the fact there are no electrical sockets in the room - this was made just a tickle better by being able to use Michael's (the landlord) electrical sockets at any time - day or night.
The communal bathrooms (no room has attached) just about passed for clean on a good day, and on a bad day were fairly dank.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The free breakfast is as basic as they come, but fine.
Location was good, walking distance to most places and not too crowded.
All in all for 900 rupees for a double would recommend for a few days.
At the end of the day it is a room within a building within a city within a country that is rather large.More
