Absolutely loved our time at this hotel. It is dated, rough around the edges, and utterly charming.
The painted walls an ceilings that impress in the entry room and the study are also present in the bedrooms. The food at the restaurant was consistently good. The service friendly.
The furniture, decorations, and historic displays harken to a century or more ago, but it was my favorite stop on a three-week trip through India and Nepal. For me, it just oozed charm and sitting in one of the rooms and soaking it all in was utterly satisfying.
