Very friendly staff. The rooms are old but that’s of course to be expect from the oldest heritage hotels in Jaipur. Breakfast is nothing to get excited about. Be sure to visit the small shop at the left when entering the hotel. This man and has family have been painting, decorating and building art pieces for over 40 years. Not only for the shop but for decorations all over Jaipur.

I stayed at Bissau Palace as part of a Gadventures tour. This hotel is so beautiful and the decor makes you feel as if you are in 1920s India. Due to the age of the hotel, some of the rooms are a bit outdated, but with some small renovations, this place could be a 5 star hotel in no time! I would stay here again just for the decor and the relaxing atmosphere by the pool. Probably wouldn’t swim in the pool due to the green algae near the bottom, but the atmosphere is still nice. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but good for what you pay for it.

This place was recommended by lonely planet and advertised as a grandeur haveli.. What we got is far from that.. We booked a deluxe chamber, when they took us to the room, it was old, dusty and the aircon doesnt work. It was 37 degrees outside and inside. They finally moved us to other smaller room with working aircon after we complained. The hotel facilities and the room is nowhere near the value of what we paid, no working wifi in the room, the hotel located in a slum, the building is not well maintained, the swimming pool is dirty and the sheet has a few holes. They disputed the free mediocre breakfast and wants to charge extra eventhough our hotel voucher stated included breakfast. I was looking forward to unwind and enjoy the hotel but it's just so dissappointing that the place feels like a run down and not the value of what we paid. Do yourself a favour and choose many other hotels with same price and way better quality.

What a beautiful hotel is your first impression. The lobby area, and rooms beyond are truly wonderful, unfortunately this does not extend to the rooms, or the grounds.
The pool area could be nice , but is spoilt by numerous broken tiles.
The rooms are furnished with four poster beds , in our case it had two but they were poorly maintained. The rooms were dark, with noisy air con. There were murals on the walls but these were not finished.
The grounds could be nice to sit out in but the furniture is neglected.
In essence this hotel needs money spent on it, and if it as done correctly this could be a fine hotel that would befit a Palace it may have once resembled.

I really liked it.It is the peaceful place .Rooms are very convinient .
Also the staff attitude is very customer oriented.
The hotel has a swimming pool where you can relax after long day.
