First of all there are many things that they need to improve:
1)courtesy and customer care. Although not being vegetarian, my husband and I choose this hotel for the reviews. If a customer ask during breakfast, twice in a week, for soya or coconut milk, maybe they could provide to satisfy a customer with intolerance. They didn't care at all. I asked all days for a water bottle in my room and at the end they charged! Our breakfast was included, but at the end they charged all the meal because we ordered from the wrong menu. Who informed us that there was a different menu for breakfast if you gave us the same???!
2) Cleaning: we stayed in this hotel 6 nights, from reviews we just read good feedback about it. Unfortunately we was disappointed. First day they didn't clean our room because we should have drop the key at reception. How can you pretend that we already know your habits?? Anyway they cleaned our room only twice in 6 days, despite we left our key to them. I asked many time for the clean towels.
3)Only Men workers. Was very curious and strange to see that no one woman worked in this hotel, this is just a consideration.
AC is so much noise!!! Impossible to sleep, and you are forced to switch off it and on the fan!
Anyway the location is not in the city centre (you need to take a tuk tuk or Ola to move around the city)but is quiet area with many good restaurants around. The structure could be so much better, if it was renewed, Indian style is very nice. Such a shame for the old aspect. At the end with this price is a good deal, bedsheets are clean, the rooftop and the garden near the reception are very nice. Food needs improvement, but is OK.
Suggestions: Provide to welcoming the customer with a water bottle in the room, explain everything at the beginning: cleaning service, different menu for breakfast, and be more kind. Renew the structure. Improve the food and mostly the poor breakfast, and add Vegan option (you are a vegetarian hotel)and please join the bed and the blanket together, for a couple is very fastidious to have separate beds! Thank you for the friendly driver.

Stayed already before in Sunder Palace some (7) years ago. It is nice to see that the hotel/guest house is still in good condition and value for money.
Also the communication making the booking was very pleasant.
The rooftop restaurant is a nice place to sit and the quality of food and service in the restaurant is excellent. Special one waiter (Betoo) was extremely friendly and service minded.
I will not hesitate to return to Sunder Palace if I visit Jaipur again.

The guest house is extremely beautiful and well maintained though the bed in the deluxe room could have been better. Highlight would be the roof top restaurant that serves delicious food with good options for breakfast and other meals. Though they don't serve egg since it's a vegetarian restaurant. The staff is polite and helpful. Overall a good experience.

Great place in terms of safety. We felt safe dealing with any staff (whoever attended us) throughout our stay here. We had pre booked the property well in advance. They offered to collect us from the airport. We found the driver was decent and had no issues so ever. The rooms were good but not excellent. I guess its not a five star hotel so no complaints. Hot water was available in the wash rooms 24 * 7. Service was good whenever we asked for. They run a restaurant on the rooftop which seems a little expensive but we had no issues as our package was inclusive of breakfast. Variety of choices in the menu and we were very happy with the quality. Tasted Rajasthani thali for lunch and loved the taste. The place is in the city so all tourist attractions are easily accessible. One can book ola, uber or the hotels very own car service (this looks expensive, please negotiate). Throughout my stay I observed there were more of foreign tourists here than Indians. Not sure why? I guess word of mouth as well as good reviews by many foreign tourists. The place did not fail me, would love to stay here again.
