Sat at the bar. 3 people behind bar, yes we got a menu. After 5 min. I asked for a top shelf margarita (I had to get their attention) no top shelf, ok. Then NOTHING. No service=no food. Server comes over so I ask who's the bartender & how do we get a drink & food? She said I can get you a drink. I then asked who are the 3 people behind the bar? She said oh, they're the owners. Are you kidding me??!! Horrible customer service!!!

Hi there, Cindy. Sorry for the delay in responding to your review, but we weren't able to respond to Trip Advisor reviews until just now. We certainly never like to hear that a customer is dissatisfied and we ALWAYS do everything we can (within reason) to make a customer happy. That being said, I'm not sure how we could've made your experience a better one. Here's the actual timeline from your visit taken directly from the video footage.

6:01:00 PM
You entered the restaurant with a friend, were greeted by our staff, and you headed to the bar. One of you heads to the restroom.

6:01:15 PM
Erin, one of our servers placed menus in front of you exactly 15 seconds later (not 5 minutes). She stays speaking with you or your friend until right at 6:02 explaining the drink menu and other details.

6:02:55 PM
The second of your party returns from the restroom and you both get settled in your seats.

6:04:42 PM
Less than two minutes later, Erin returns to speak with you and take your drink order. She stays speaking with your for another minute at which point...

6:05:40
You get up from your seats and exit the restaurant.

You were in our restaurant for less than 5 mins and you were greeted and attended to immediately. As for what we were doing behind the bar, it unfortunately happens to be the location of our very small office. We were speaking with one of our managers about beer and wine orders and sales. While we are ALWAYS happy to serve ANY of our customers ANY time, we do have servers who are paid to do just that. Erin did a great job of making sure you you were taken care of (or she tried at least).

Our perception of time isn't always 100% accurate. While we understand that you perceived you waited longer than you did and that you weren't being served, those two thoughts don't reflect the actual facts. In the end, we'd love the opportunity to serve you in the future and earn your business.

This is just another burger place. The burgers are ok but nothing special the buns are very greasy and burgers are small for the price. This is also a self serve place that you have to figure out for yourself.

Our restaurant is much like most other burger joints in our service model. It is NOT however just another burger joint in regards to our product. We use 1/3 pound fresh ground chuck, brisket, and short rib patties, and fresh brioche buns. All of our sauces are made from scratch right here in house. Our pork butts are smoked in house using our own proprietary rub (also made in house). We charge $7.99 for most of our gourmet burgers which use premium meat, bun, gourmet sauces, and are piled high with fresh toppings. Most people do find that to be a pretty reasonable price for what they get. We do baste our buns lightly which most love, but we're certainly willing to leave that off upon request.

Been here a few times and it is always good. Never had a bad burger and the tots are amazing. It's not the best burger around but it's pretty darn good. They are a little on the pricey side but they are gourmet.

The host that gave us our menu and seated us, neglected to say it was self serve. We ordered dinner. I ask for a Coke, told Coke was over there. The server brought our burgers and rueben sandwiches. We ask for silverware and were told where it was. Food was okay, not exceptional. It is a strange place. It was empty when we were there.

Thanks for visiting Bleus Burger! We're sorry your experience wasn't great. We, indeed, do have a different service model that's not unlike many other Burger Joints. Our servers are trained to explain that to every guest as they're greeted. Unfortunately some tend to tune that out as the normal restaurant greeting. The middle of January in our area is the absolute slowest time of year for restaurants in this area. In addition we just opened in mid-october as a locally owned and operated small business.

I went there with three friends. Two of them had a Reuben which was good. My burger was good with the exception of the greasy bun. One friend ordered poutine which did not seem at all like a traditional poutine.

We were given menus and told to sit where we wanted, and the host showed us the self service beverage station. We waited, in an empty dark restaurant, and had to ask for someone to take our order, which they did. Then I had to ask for a knife, a fork, etc. It was brought, but only for me. My friends finally scrounged utensils up themselves.when we asked for the check we were told to pay at the cash register. We finally thought, maybe this is a self service restaurant. But if it was, why didn’t someone tell us. If it is not a self service restaurant, service was terrible.
