History is important and understanding the impact that this railroad station had in the growth of Huntsville was fascinating. The layout was impressive - and the actual facilities were well maintained. Additionally, in the upstairs, there is an impressive display of Union soldiers wall writing when being held as prisoners. This appealed to me - and we spent a significant amount of time seeing the history of agriculture and how Huntsville played a key role. Well worth the money - well worth the time.

Nice place to visit. Some free things and some cost. Also near war memorial. Grounds are beautiful and there is a pavilion for picnicking.

I had a great time learning about the history of the depot and the Huntsville area. My tour guide was knowledgeable about more than just the depot and the trains; she also knew a lot about the geography and history of the area and all the technology related to the railroads. Well worth the price of admission.

We took the guided tour and enjoyed the information presented to us on the history of the railroad in Huntsville. It was a three story depot but had an elevator for the handicap. I really enjoyed hearing about railroad life back in the day and loved the graffiti dating back to the Civil War. I loved that the modern day trains still come through here. Great stop for the history buffs and train enthusiasts.
