Tries hard to be authentic and the cost of entry is really reasonable.

“My favourite attraction in Melaka.”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

My favourite attraction in Melaka. For RM10 you get a guided tour of a real baba-nonya house. The tour guide (Cristina) is very knowledgeable and will give you an insight into the generations of peranankan that lived in the house along with their customs, artefacts, furniture and more.

“Historical house”
Reviewed 7 February 2012

It's actually a private property that owned by wealthy "peranakan" [mixed race between chinese an malay]. The house owner doesn't live there anymore, but they keep the old furnitures there. I had fun in this house, there's a guide will explain about the history of the house, the ages of the properties, the architecture of the house. All furnitures are well maintained. RM 10 per person for the entrance fee. Must visit if you're in Melaka.
