Great design , comfortable warm and old shanghai
Great service. Attentive and friendly.
Delicious breakfast and lunch. Cafe style and great xiao long dumplings and shanghai noodles that the wait staff recommended we try. Free wifi and massage chairs in the quay space.
Location was perfect fr business and sight seeing.
View everywhere were amazing. loved the sounds that came of the river.
We would recommend staying here to anyone visiting shanghai.

Located right on the bund and river with views across to pudong and the old city, indigo was perfect.
Breakfast was great. Service beyond our expectations. Beistifully designed rooms. Views to die for.
5 star all the way without the ritzy price tag.

Frin the moment you check in you are taken away by the design, service and amenities that indigo has to offer.
Stunning design - old shanghai meets modern chic. Fantastic service in all areas (even security helped out with directions and a smile). Delicious breakfast - cage style with cook to order and beat coffee I have had in a hotel (possibly ever - thank you Daisy). Char with its bar and grill sublime. A definite must try. And last of all WOw what views.

Great comfort. Great service. Great value.
What else can a traveller ask for.
Thank you indigo team.

I went to Shanghai, China with my husband and two of my children during the Spring break. We stayed at the Hotel Indigo for six days. This hotel exceeded my expectation - exquisite decor, clean environment, and exceptional front desk staff. Gigi (Duty Manager) and others made our stay at Hotel Indigo an experience to remember. It is certain that when I decide to visit Shanghai again, this hotel would be my first chioce. I could not comment about the restaurant at this hotel because we ate out most of the time. Shanghai is a beautiful city with wonderful human beings. Regarding shopping, one might want to convert the currency into dollars, or the currency of chioce in order to ascertain whether it is a price one is comfortable paying. NEVER be intimidated by the vendors' initial HUGE markup. Always remember to pay whatever you feel comfortable paying in your own currency. Again, it is not out of the ordinary for a vendor to markup an item 100% or higher. For example, an item that you bought for 30 yuan could actually be initially presented to you by the vendor as costing 200 yan. Even at 30 yuan pruchased price as indicated above, the cost might still be too high. Again, what matters is that one feels comfortable paying the indicated price. A great restaurant is the Lost Heaven - try the shrimp spring roll appertizer. Regarding transportation, Never enter a taxi without a meter, and do not enter a vehicle without the taxi sign. Finally, please do make sure that your destination address is written in Chinese to present to the taxi drivers.
