Well, good and interesting review of silk processes. But, unless you are in the market for a silk comforter of bedspread, or silk clothing and handbags, you will feel some pressure to buy. The prices are good, but I zipped through quickly. Kids will enjoy.

The museum is ok but I feel they only take you there so you can purchase items you don’t really need. They sol$ us silkworm pillow inserts and they were taken off us at the airport, which I. Relieve they knew but told us
it is ok.

Not the most interesting visit but was informative on the 'creation' of silk duvets. The actual labour involved is eye opening and interesting to see, but then, as anticipated, it turns into a hard sell, which I'm still not sure if the deals were good value or not. One thing for sure was that is certainly was good quality.

I went alone so to buy some duvets Mary was great and not pushing,
the address listed on trip advisor is not that showing on the map extremely frustrating and somehow no good unless you like to spend hours on the streets looking can someone corrected,
a proce for a good all silk duvet double size is about 750 RMB so good price.

Took a tour of the silk museum. Taken through the cycle of the worm , the cocoon and ultimate production of the silk thread. Shown how the cocoon gives up the luxurious silk thread. Fascinating to see how beautiful fabric is produced from something so basic- a worm. What you see at the museum is only part of the story. Else where in the region there is a massive silk production facility. From the tour rooms we came to the very large room where you could make purchases of the many silk products, shirts, scarves, bedding, purses, etc. //for potential purchasers these silk made items are not cheap. You are buying quality.
