I am a regular return visitor here when working at golf tournaments in and around Shanghai.
Traffic in the city is always problematic, but the Highsure is close to a main highway and with easy access.
The rooms/suites are faultless. Spacious and comfortable with large bathroom, bedroom, lounge, kitchen and office areas. There are appartments in Shanghai which are considerably smaller than this.
A short walk away there are plenty of restaurants and little shops, plus around 20 minutes walk away is one of the best known bar areas of Shanghai with a pedestrianised street full of restaurants and bars and variety.
Couldn't recommend the Highsure more surely or highly.

The Highshure is a modern all suites hotel near Hong Qiao airport and beside a golf course. The room I had was enormous with a large sitting area, desk, and sofas. The bathroom is part of the room itself, up on a raised floor. The only door or partition was the shower plateglass. Breakfast was good if unremarkable with the usual choices of Chinese or western food - served until 9:30 AM. My rate of RMB 739 (=USD 110) included breakfast and free high speed internet in the room.

If you are commuting to meetings downtown (on or near the Bund) allow at least 30-35 min in light to moderate traffic, more if raining or rush hour.

There are several restaurants, a bank ATM, and busy streets nearby. The hotel itself is on a wide highway-like avenue.

Good business hotel, enough space in the room to work comfortably and even sit and talk. TV, phone, fixtures modern and work well.

Very modern, clean & tidy service apartments. Good breakfast, friendly staff. There's a small (Spar type) shop attached.

Its next to a golf course overlooking a major road complex (don't be put off as there is little to no noice worth mentioning). The hotel is a 40 min drive from PuDong Airport and about a 10 mins drive from Hongquai Airport (the old Shanghai International airport) in the area known as Mandarin City (primarily a business zone). Good colonial style building within the area and not a modern faceless area like Shenzhen.

Room (mine was a 1 bed) was compact and very clean (see pics) with an excellent bathroom (large rain shower - no bath), fresh clean towels and facilities.

I doubt if it could be bettered for the price anywhere, especially in Shanghai.

Pics of golf course were taken in Jan at the height of winter - should look very nice when the grass is actually green !!
