Personally, I dislike restaurants that are targeted to tourist (Especially American Tourist). Everything has an enough of an American flare that it seems too similar. When out and about I prefer easting what the locals do. That said we all know that some local food experiences you do at your own risk.
Not this one. The is a very authentic local food experience without sacrificing quality at a GREAT price. My favorite is their seafood soups - amazing. BTW know that all of their portions are huge. I asked how big their soup bowls were vs cups. They gestured with their hands a bowl size similar to what you may use for your morning cereal. It was not, possibly twice that size at the very least. Not a bad deal but we ordered a second dish that we could not finish. So go hungry!
Do not leave without trying their naturally prepared juices. Any juice will do they are all prepared with filtered water. My favorite is the cas (Costa Rican Guava).
