Three years later we are still talking about how much we loved it! We are planning a trip back to Costa Rica and this place is one of the reason we are going back. We loved talking with the owner and his family. The food was delightful and the accommodations were good for the price. It was a very homey atmosphere which we loved. Don't expect to enter a restaurant thought. Think of it more as entering someones home :) We will be back - this time with our two year old son! Love, Alexa and Jack

Food tasted ok, but the food portion was not nearly enough. We were starving after dinner and stopped by a super market for bananas and oranges. But this is the only vegetarian place in town. So I guess I can't complain much.

We found the restaurant on a tourist Map and by recommendation of our hotel as we were asking for vegetarian restaurants.
When we arrived there we didn't recognise it as a restaurant at first as you are basically sitting on the chef's porch. As there was also a small child living there it was naturally not very tidy.
The meals were not served as described as on the menu, also they did not taste particularly good. We felt quite uncomfortable.

We stopped by that place because it was so rustic and primitive, like an open back kitchen. The owner was willing to talk to us. He told us his story. It was nice to spend some time there.

Had the most tasty ceviche and smoothie here! Like having dinner in your friend's garden, with excellent service from the owners adorable daughter who also offered entertainment in a round of 'go fish' :)
