I was nervous, but the guides made me feel safe at all times. Everything is relaxed, yet exciting. This company has everything down to a tee - we left on time, stopped on way over and let us out to take pics of a sloth walking on the telephone lines, great safety briefing, awesome rapids and opportunity to swim in the Rio Balsa. Excellent lunch waiting upon your return - just A+. Pura Vida!

While planning our trip, Maichal Robinson. L was SUPER helpful. He arranged transportation for us from the airport in San Jose to our hotel in Fortuna and then to our next destination after rafting. The crew on the rafting experience was outstanding. Jose educated us and kept us entertained on the bus ride to the entry point. Time between the drop and start of the activity was minimal. The guide on the river were serious about their jobs but also outgoing and friendly. Our guide, Tom, is someone who I would want to meet again on our next trip to Costa Rica. The rapids were thrilling and fun. The scenery was beautiful. The fruit refreshment and the post adventure beer were delicious. In my opinion, if you want to get a flavor of the country and have a GREAT time, do this first!
