This is the oldest oxcart factory (Fabrica de Carreta) in town since 1903. In the front of the store, you see oxcart, wooden furniture and other souvenir items. However, at the back yard, you get to visit artisan working area, tools used and generations of oxcarts in display.

The owner was very kind to give us a tour. We don’t speak Spanish but we were lucky to have our driver Alex doing the translation. He even encouraged my daughter did some painting on the wheel and posted for photo.

We bought a key chain hanging board painted with oxcart patterns. The sales person was so nice to put in extra hook without charge upon our request. Now, it reminds us of Sarchi and their friendliness every day.
