We stayed at villa Del sol for 7 days best stay ever , the house keeping was great , nice pool, iguana sunning them selfs , never got to see any howler monkeys but we got to hear them almost ever night it's only one minute to the beach . But the bet thing of all , is Marina the coordinator she goes up and beyond , an absolute 10 !

This place is for sale and it shows. You should not pay anymore then 80$ for this place. It is about a block from a beach. You will be awaken every day by rooster at 4 am.
This area seems to be experiencing severe drought. Beach is ok with black sand .Everything is very overpriced, grocery , restaurants etc. Best place to eat La Cog.

My husband and I spent two night at Villa del Sol. We had one of the studio rooms, which was a good size and had all amenities for cooking etc. if one was so inclined. Bed was okay, room had air conditioning and a fan which was much needed in the heat! Garden and pool were lovely, and the hotel is near the end of a road, so we felt removed from the busyness of the main strip. Did not have much interaction with the staff during our stay, but when we did see them, they were pleasant.

Beach was only a short walk away, and was great for swimming, walking, etc. Overall, a good place to stay in this area.

Had a wonderful time, very quaint, clean, the staff was very accomodating, just far enough from coco to avoid the noise but yet close enough to walk to everything, nice simple breakfast everyday, recommend renting a vehicle to travel to nearby other beaches, playa de cabuyal was absolutely incredible
Will come back again

This B and B has a great location as it is far away enough from the strip to be away from the noise but it is also a five minute walk to one of the public accesses to the beach which you almost have to yourself.
The rooms have wonderfully high ceilings in the bed and breakfast and large bathrooms with spacious showers. You need to bring your own toiletries. The bed was not the most comfortable I have experienced but not uncomfortable or terrible. The AC functioned at half speed but was adequate. There is good security at night and the owner Serge is around at breakfast to welcome you. You eat at your own table so you dont meet too many of the other guests. The cleaning staff and the breakfast staff aim to please.... A good experience....make sure you acertain you are getting your own bedroom with a private bathroom as some of the bedrooms have an interconnceting bathroom which would be fine for a family. The apartments in the other building look great also. Beautifully lit up at night and great trees and foliage around the grounds.
