“Amazing view and great place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2012

We spent the first days of our trip here and really loved the place. We stayed in a deluxe room with ocean view. Three of the four mornings there were white-faced monkeys in the tree outside our room. The landscaping is fantastic, the staff helpful, nice, and friendly. The service was great as was the food at both restaurants. The complimentary breakfast is quite nice.
The view from the restaurants and our room was incredible. Great place to relax, we would definitely stay here again

The entire Manuel Antonio area is now very overbuilt along a narrow ridge line. The room was quite small and our balcony was squeezed between two other rooms and we mainly could view a roof top. The room does not is open on only one side so air conditioning is required.

The restaurant food was quite good and I would recommend if you do go to the area. Their private nature sanctuary is quite small. We did see Capuchins but few birds amongst the buildings.

Room Tip: Get a newer suite if you can afford it for better views.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Si Como No. We have four kids ages 8, 6, 4 and 2 and they all enjoyed it. We saw monkeys are first morning at the pool - they were on the roof of the poolside restaurant, Rico Tico and the kids enjoyed watching the local iguanas. The family pool was a big hit for our family with the water slide and jumping platform as well as the swim up bar. We took a tour of Manuel Antonio National Park and did the jungle night walk and Michael was our guide for both tours. He was great - very knowledgeable and friendly - again good with the kids. The rooms were great for our family - clean and roomy.

When we arrived I thought I had arrive in heaven. Breathtaking views and sunny weather. We got upgraded to a honeymoon suite which did not disappoint. The stained glass was beautiful and every morning we would see beautiful birds in the tree outside our window. Would definitely recommend this place and think it was a good value. The swim up bar was a treat and I have a terrible weakness for waterslides.

Room Tip: room 56 was wonderful.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful location, feels serene and like you're in the middle of nature. The views are stunningly beautiful. Restaurant was petty good - I liked my food, but a couple of my travel partners were unimpressed with their fish dinner. They make their own ice cream, which was tasty. The ceviche was my favorite dish.

The room was fine, but I see opportunities for improvement if it wants to get into that luxury level of accommodation. They need to pay attention to the small details. For example, some of the dandies and drins in the minibar were past their expiration date. Also, I noticed a line of insects leading to and from the wall near the minibar. The room, upon entering, also had a somewhat disagreeable smell. Not sure what it was - not mildew, but just not very fresh smelling.

Overall, a nice stay.

Our experience at Si Como No was wonderful. We had reserved a standard room but somehow ended up with fabulous views of the bay. The place was NOT overrun with people, which is always nice. The staff was eager to help and the food was good, (if pricey). There are two pools, one adults-only, both lovely and relaxing. This is a winner in the Manuel Antonio area.

Room Tip: I'd try to get a room away from the street.
