Great fishing/eco trip at one of the best local lodges in Pueto Jiminez. Las Islas Lodge provided all the amenities and conveniences to make our trip and stay enjoyable. Clean, spacious room with vaulted ceiling, central air conditioning w/paddle fan and large private bath, easy access to pool and restaurant/bar facilities on premises with English/Spanish speaking staff made everything relaxing and convenient. Lodge is conveniently located just off the newly paved local highway into town, within walking distance (approx. ½ mile) to center of town, local fishing pier and airport.

Owner Oscar provided highly personalized service. As a dedicated local fisherman/eco tourism specialist he has deep roots and remains committed to the local community. Las Islas maintains a number of well equipped fishing boats with excellent local captains/mates who live to fish every day for the best variety of inshore/offshore fishing anywhere in the world. Lodge arranged a variety of tours including: Eco walking tour, zip line tour and other activities that provided interest outside of fishing activities. Would highly recommend looking into tour options to ensure you have sufficient time to cover everything you might want on your trip.

Absolutely recommend Las Islas Lodge facilities with dedicated professional staff to make your stay on the OSA peninsula an enjoyable one. In summary, great trip, memorable & enjoyable experience and will definitely be back at Las Islas Lodge in future.
