Been there at first this year with my wife before a trip to Tamarindo and Monteverde.

It's a Windham one so no bad surprises at all, well lay on the breakfast, staff is surprisingly king and young, and the ambient is, how to say, ver millennial.

Only bad thing to say is the transfer to the airport, which made us wait for more than one hour to arrive, probably a missed call.

Really a nice hotel to pass by.

The Luke.

We stayed here one night at the end of a 7 day wildlife watching tour before moving on to a week on the Pacific coast. I don't know what Thompson/TUI holidays were thinking when they arranged this hotel. After a week of rain forest and eco lodges how could they think we would be happy here. It's a business style hotel and although had great views of the city and spacious rooms it is completely soul-less. It's a concrete building on the outskirts of San Jose. The restaurant served reasonable food at city prices. If you are on business and all you need is a place to lay your head then this hotel would be fine but as a visitor to the country and city I would not recommend it.

Room tip: High floors have a good view over the city and volcano beyond.
