Who knew there were that many hammers and uses! I was pessimistic about going but loved it. Interesting!

Quirky, entertaining, informative and well worth the $5 entrance fee.
The manager on the day we visited was very friendly too.
Even on a sunny day a must do in Haines.

Small museums are perfect for a rainy day. This is easy to spot. Just look for the large hammer out front. Thousands are on display and thousands more in storage. This was really pretty neat and quite interesting. You can buy a ticket for 3 local museums and save a few dollars.

Um. It's a museum full of hammers. There's no movie theater in Haines, so... Oddly, the hammers are screwed (not nailed) to the walls.
