As folks who enjoy home projects, this place is a hoot! Who knew there were so many types of hammers for every function. Very thorough and interesting. Well worth the 5$ admission! Quirky and fun!

We visited this museum as a lark, but once in it found it to be a fascinating place to visit. It contains over a thousand hammers of different materials, origins, and age. You can purchase a package that takes you here and to the American Bald Eagle Foundation and the Sheldon Museum at a discounted price. Look for the gigantic hammer in front of the museum.

Very unique and interesting. Every hammer you could ever want to know about. Get the admission for the 3 museums/attractions in Haines, it saves you some money. Walking distance from the cruise ship and there is also a free shuttle.
