Love this family owned Inn. So many great options to choose from... All with lovely charming decor and atmosphere. We saw many different rooms and you couldn’t go wrong... we had a gorgeous sea view. Even the more moderately price options were so cute. This would be a great place for a wedding party, family retreat or reunion too.

We would go back in a minute!

The Driftwood Inn and Seaside Lodge offers a wide variety of options for visitors to Homer: you can chose the older, quaint Inn rooms, the beautiful rooms and suites in the modern buildings or the delightful campground right on the edge of Kachemak Bay. There are excellent restaurants within easy walking distance - AJ's Steakhouse right across the street, the Elks Lodge next door and 2 Sisters Bakery a couple of blocks away. Bishop's Beach is within easy walking distance and many other attractions in Homer are in the near vicinity. Adrianne and the Walli family provide delightful, informative and caring service for all their guests. It is a delight to stay in their Inn and I would strongly recommend the Driftwood Inn to anyone visiting Homer and the surrounding area. Gail Phillips, Anchorage, Alaska

Room tip: Seaside Lodge can be reserved for families and include kitchens, bedrooms, open spaces and lovely decks.

We have traveled to Homer numerous times over the years. Fishing trips in summer and sporting events in winter, Hoping to fish for winter kings this year. We stay with Driftwood Inn whenever possible as the rooms are clean and staff is professional and friendly. They booked a charter for us and the captain and crew were great. Plus we all caught our limit of Haliibut and Salmon! This place is highly recommended.

Room tip: Rooms vary widely in size and amenities. Website has good descriptions with photos to help choose the right one.

We stayed here for a great fishing trip on Misty with Captain Shane. Limited out on halibut and salmon!! Have stayed in new quarters twice and in RV twice, services and staff excellent! New bath and laundry for RV is very comfortable.

Driftwood Inn is about 100 years old, but very well maintained with caring personnel (family owned and operated). It can't compete with the amenities of a newer modern facility, but if you are visiting Homer, Alaska, you are there for some local charm anyway...along with good seafood! The Inn's only drawback might be the shared bathrooms....but we never encountered a time when one or both were not free. The Inn has much rustic charm and is very clean. It is literally a stone's throw away from the ocean with a long beachfront to collect rocks and shells. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Room tip: Don't select the two rooms at the top of the stairs...all traffic passes by them to access the other rooms.
