We originally reserved 2 nights but needed to extend our stay another night. The clerk whose name I can't recall, was exceptionally nice and was able to give us our same room the extra night. We were in the original building. The room was old, but clean. The hallway has an odd smell, not unpleasant, just odd. At least the room didn't have the same odor. There's a quart, clean common room to hang out in, a back room with a washer and dryer and vending and ice machine. It's convenient to Homer Spit, to the hospital (which we we wound up visiting while there) . Beware of local motorists! They drive fast and crazy... seriously. Loads of fun things to see there. There are more expensive motels in the area, but this place actually has the best value. Definitely recommend this establishment. When we come back, we will stay with them again.

For the price it was fantastic. Room decor was half 70's throwback, half Fred Meyer clearance (not in a bad way). Beds were comfy with enough pillows. Our dog got her own bed since the room came with two doubles. There was a mini fridge in the room which is AWESOME since we brought snacks with us. Updated TV with cable. Bathroom was still stuck in a different era and the soap dispenser was broken in the shower, but the bar soap provided did the trick.

Would definitely recommend to other late night traveler's and people with pets. Not many other places around town other than Bidarka have a front desk that is all hours.

This hotel was not too bad. It was kind of a get what you pay for situation. The best part was the pet friendly aspect though. Not very many places are. If you're wanting to save some cash and don't mind staying in a basic motel, this is your place. The staff were very helpful and friendly too. I would stay here again.

This is a historic hotel downtown and is very reasonably priced compared to other places we tried. The room was comfortable and spacious. No air conditioning but not bad for a night. 24 coffee downstairs.

Well this is a heritage building, cannot complain about the size of the room which was so small the double bed hardly made it. $95, bathroom even smaller. Built 100 years ago, one of the cheapest place in town and really if just want to sleep, best place

Room Tip: The cheapest place we found in town
