Wanted to visit Hope away from the crowds in Kenai and Seward and were delighted to find this spacious and comfortable log cabin house. Very good value for money considering the high prices in Alaska in July. The host Gail Booth was responsive and easy to communicate with and gave excellent advice on driving directions and where to go for breakfast or dinner if you don't want to cook yourself. There is no Wifi but good AT&T 4G coverage. Logs were provided for heating, but if you are lazy there are also electric heaters. Gail even provided a welcoming bottle of wine for our arrival. Washing machine and dryer are also available. Lots of iron in the local tap water, but we were provided with bottled water for drinking, tea and coffee.
