We stayed for one night, just enough to visit the castle and then be on our way back home. Hotel is just as presented, we had a great time and a good night's rest. Even though it's not dated, the choice of styling and furniture seems a bit "nostalgic".

This hotel is very conveniently located for touring the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the large size of the suite assigned to us and found the accommodations to be very comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assist us. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant a couple of times and found it to an excellent value and delicious.

We spent 2 nights here in April, I booked a senior suite. This had a separate bedroom, a sofa bed for the daughter and a sitting area. Good facilities including a kettle and comfy beds and pillows, very clean and well maintained. Looks like the pictures with wood panelling and paintings on the walls. It is one of the poshest places to stay in town but good value for the standard of accommodation. It is on a side street so location is quiet, at the base of the citadel so close to everything, 15 minute walk to train station. Breakfast is ok and the jacuzzi is nice to relax in. Would stay here again.

Big clean rooms, basic bathrooms, solid restaurant and breakfast, good service and friendly staff. Convenient location close to the up town. Good for business and pleasure.
Could have some better quality shower bath and shampoo.

Staying here for 2nights, the entrance and decor is very charming! the staff are very friendly, welcoming and smiley! We were greeted at the car by a chap taking our cases and leading us to the reception where we were greeted by the friendly and helpful receptionists.
Staying in a junior suite it is very spacious and accommodating, clean, tidy and lovely decor.
(a few good features, Plenty of parking, Spa/Jacuzzi and attractive decor. Only a few hundred yards to the town centre)
I'm so glad I booked here!
