We were back at the BinKaya for two more weeks of pampering during the last week of September and the first week of October 2012. The quality of this hotel hasn't changed since I wrote a review last year, it is still the most wonderful place, with Christophe and Funda being the best hosts anyone could wish for. I could say that they go the extra mile for their guests, but actually they go much further than that. The reviews on this website and the many repeat stays at this hotel tell the tale. Once again we enjoyed the hospitality and everything this gem of a place has to offer. As well as Christophe and Funda themselves, there is the best team of young ladies working here, we thank you Dilek, Sehrizan and Nefise, you spoiled us thoroughly. Only one complaint and that is the fact that we had to drag ourselves away after two weeks - but we didn't leave empty handed, we were able to enjoy Funda's amazing apple pie and cherry cheesecake for another few days because she made some for us to take home. We loved it!

You can book your holiday at the BinKaya with confidence --- the hosts are warm and welcoming, the rooms comfortable and spotless and the fine food is served in lovely surroundings.
It's the attention to detail and its positive vibe that sets this hotel apart from the others. BinKaya has a boutique hotel feel to the place and is certainly a perfect alternative to one of the larger hotels in Dalyan.
From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Funda with a smile and a refreshing welcome drink, we felt we had made the right choice! Christophe and Funda are friendly and engaging hosts who 'go the extra mile' to make sure their guests are comfortable, that they enjoy superb food and have everything they need to make their holiday special.
The staff is genuinely committed to excellence and without exception every detail was looked after, they seem to love their jobs and their guests!
The breakfasts are wonderfully unique and the evening meals were appealingly prepared, so fresh and delicious...and, as always, served with a smile!
Our favourites: French onion soup, Funda's fabulous Izmir style Kofte, the Apple pie and, without a doubt, every single breakfast! Oh, and Christophe's house red wine, Arya, is really good.
Thank you to both Christophe and Funda, many hoteliers and guest house owners could learn a thing or two from you!
Cheers!
Patrica & Joseph

Stayed in this great little hotel for 5 nights. Loved the atmosphere and met lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble for these two go getters that run this hotel. Would reccomend this hotel anytime. Away from all the riff raff on the main drag. You feel a million miles away from that.

Room Tip: ask for a room that opens onto the pool

Our first trip to Turkey and we were not diappointed. Brilliant service from the owners Christophe and Funda and their young staff added to lovely scenery and happily no concrete/neon surroundings, all made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is very clean and tidy with an outdoor pool and terrace and is located near the town centre and river, which made it easy to get about. We stayed b&b in order to sample the local restaurants however, Funda presented some lovely dinners, which made choosing to go out or stay in quite a problem. Definitely one to return to.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are probably quieter. The 12 Islands boat trip is not be missed. Use the local river boat cooperative to arrange for good value.

The BinKaya is small (14 rooms) and right smack in the center of the town of Dalyan, which has become quite touristy indeed, so on arriving with my family for a a two-week stay, I was on a wee bit concered... No need, thank god! we had a terrific stay! Once you walk ino the BinKaya you are in a haven of peace! I had in fact picked it out because it has a decently-sized pool and had settled on Dalyan as it's on a river, rather than the sea, which my teenagers informed me they had no desire to swim in 'cause it's salty! But to my surprise and enjoyment we basically spent all our days seaside, of which you reach one end via the minibus and the other by boat. Imagine a seven-mile long sand beach with no stupid noisy polluting contraptions of any kind! Bliss indeed! Plus, at the minibus end, the "turtle hospital", not to be missed!
Back in Dalyan pubs were competing with the most and biggest screens showing premier league, etc., but in the relative quiet of the BinKaya mine most excellent hosts Funda and Christophe would on request cook up a storm for us! Also, just across the river is an archeological site not to be missed, (I made it there three times...) as you can take pictures of a roman theatre (still in use!) with a frankish ie medieval castle in the background while peering over the greek ruins by a lake, with turtle beach etc, in the background. I might grant you that 2weeks might be too much of a good thing on a first or second trip to Turkey, but I can guarantee that noone will regret a week at the BinKaya in Dalyan!
