Three for lunch. Friendly welcome. Good atmosphere / surroundings - altho very " hot cooking oil" smell pervadied from kitchen into eating area. Good menu selection- one of us chose steak- generous portions of chips and salad- he was well satisfied. Two of us ordered corn stacks. which turned out to be sparse greens/ bacon on side of three very flat stodgy corn fritters( microwaved?) that had only a floury taste. left on plate- disappointing at $18. Our mistake not to complain to staff at the time however having since had a meal of light eggy corn-filled fritters at another café. perhaps this may give Kelly's Bar pause to look at their fritter recipe!
