This pension is made of 5 bungalows in a small motu (islet) about 5 minutes by boat from the airport, and a few more from the main Bora Bora island.
If you are looking for some sort of Robinson Crusoe experience it is the perfect place for you! And it was for us!
The bungalows are quite basic but very nice, and there is hot water and a fan.
Elie (the host) is very nice and an interesting character, you'll never be bored when he's around! :-)
He's also a good cook, and that's good because given the remoteness of the place you won't have other options for eating!
The lagoon surrounding the motu is simply unbelievable, you can swim, snorkel, walk, canoe etc for kilometers around you, all in turquoise shallow waters, seeing amazing corals (among the best I've seen in Polynesia), tropical fishes, etc.
Snorkelling equipment and canoes are available for free.
The accommodations and the meals are certainly not cheap, but again given the remoteness it is probably understandable.
Thank you Elie for looking after us, we'll be back one day!More
