We booked the Heremoana wedding ceremony to take place at the resort. From the minute we stepped off the boat from the airport, we were blown away by everyone we encountered. It's surprising to stay somewhere where the employees take the time to get to know you and remember you. Vaihau checked us in and was so friendly and accommodating. When we had our ceremony three days after checking in, I noticed her run over to the stairs so she could watch the ceremony and she looked like she was watching her own sister get married. My husband jumped into the water when he heard a man drowning and helped Mateo rescue him. The hotel wrote us a very lovely letter thanking us for it. Mateo was also incredibly thankful and always took time to talk to us whenever we saw him. I emailed the concierge to book a tattoo appointment in Vaitape well in advance and Cyril took great care of us. He also attended us when we checked in to make sure all of our transport was booked and we had everything we needed. Once we got our tattoos, everyone we talked to at the resort remembered and when they saw us, asked to see what we got.

Last but not least, Jennifer and Chloe helped us organize the wedding. I cannot even begin to express the gratitude and love we have for them. Every last detail was perfect. Everything was on time, the hair and makeup artist was wonderful, the photographer was wonderful, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They were so friendly and personable and cared so much about our ceremony. I have been recommending Le Meridien Bora Bora to everyone I come across.

The resort was beautiful, but the staff is what will make sure I come back to this resort again in the future.

Located on a very nice motu, few miles from Bora Bora main island, the resort is a perfect mixture of tradition inn the outside architecture and modern luxury and comfort. Our double villa had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a huge sitting room in the middle, a big dehor with a private pool, facing the white beach. Food also very nice and changing night by night. Expensive of course!

Ia ora na Paolo,

Thank you for sharing your experience at Le Meridien Bora Bora in our two bedrooms Beach villas.
They are indeed ideal for a family or for sharing with a couple of friends.
With its two separate bedrooms, and a large living room that overlooks a large terrace and a private swimming pool, these villas are located along the beaches of the interior lagoon, just a few steps from our turtle sanctuary.
We hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you again,
Maururu!

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon. The staff was nice and attentive. Great breakfast here with an assortment of foods. We had a very nice overwater bungalow and enjoyed the turtle hospital which is on the grounds.

We started our honeymoon at Le Meridien. It’s exactly as advertised! The staff is fantastic - they’ll help with anything you need.

Dining - Breakfast is the same menu everyday at the buffet.

Room service dining is great! They deliver quick. Order the kids menu if you want a lighter portion!

Polynesian Buffet - Thursday, must do

Tupa - Private couple dinner on the beach. We had to delay this numerous times due to weather. Eventually the staff set us up privately for an evening at the chapel. It was absolutely romantic.

The OWB is what I would say medium sized. The bathroom can be bigger/nicer but it still does the job.

DO bring your own floaties and rope if you can. We did borrow rope from the dive shop. This allowed us to lounge at our OWB all day. I understand that people want the beach but you paid for a OWB and came out to Bora Bora for that reason! We wondered why not enough people spent time st the bungalows but likely because they didn’t have the setup we did.

Overall we would recommend Le Meridien for sure! But we will likely try to upgrade the experience next time by going to the sister property St. Regis.

A dream destination and it lived up to every moment. A long journey from London, three flights and a short boat ride bit worth every moment travelling.
The resort island has a very friendly feel although very small, there is plenty to do from just enjoying the plentiful sunbeds and really nice little lounge tents to jet skis, cats, canoes etc.
The main resterant menu is a little limited but the other grill dining bar is ideal if you get fed up, the main resterant also does buffet style on certain nights and these are not to be missed.
Breakfast is also taken in the main one and is superb with so much to choose from, you could try something different every day, it also overlooks a small lagoon stocked with many types of fish who are also hungry each morning, food is provided for them on the tables closest and overlooking.
The staff are absolutely wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble, the rooms were spotless, waiters and bar staff fantastic.
The one down side is the diving is very poor.
Take an excursion trip to the main island, is eyewaterinw expensive but its such a long way to come not to do, a half day escorted private trip was £400.00!!!
Make sure you take up the all inclusive option as everything here is staggeringly expensive, average £100 for breakfast, £160.00 for lunch and around £200.00 for dinner.
Drinks, cocktails around £25.00, a beer £5.00, fruit juice £4.00, so all inc makes sense, we stayed for two weeks and noticed that we were in the minority, most visitors stayed for four nights only.
Would we go back? probably not as the box is ticked, was a fantastic dream holiday, would we recommend, definitely

Room Tip: Water villa's at the far end of the walkway have the best uninterrupted views
