We went here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was great. Our boys had a villa on the mountain and we had an overwater villa. The water activities and the hiking were great. Food wasn’t great, but we had a really great time.

Stayed: June 2017

We stayed 2 nights in Conrad Bora Bora. I am HH member.

This was an outstanding experience.

Upon arrival at the airport, the Conrad team welcomes you with flowers (tradition) and tranfers you to the hotel by a sea-shuttle. Very good organization.

At the hotel, the same team organizes the check-in and guides you to your room. Very good organization.

This hotel has been renovated recently. The bungalow (Conrad kindly upgraded us... Many thanks !) is simply beautiful: wood everywhere, attention to details, solar panels, direct access to the lagoon, good bed and pillows, AC easy to handle or fan, safe in room, outstanding bathroom, toilets with water saver...

The fitness room is large enough (for tourists enjoying the lagoon : ), and well equipped. The swimming pool is large. Not really fitted to swim, but you can adapt and do laps.

The spa is beautiful with long term employees providing excellent massages.

The breakfast is excellent. Very good pastries, large choice of fresh fruits, dishes to order at our convenience (crepes - excellent -, waffle, eggs, etc.), Tahitian food...

On Tuesday evening, there is a Tahitian dance show (with dinner or not), which is good and in a friendly environment (you can try to dance as well).

Food and beverage is very good overall, in-room dining service good and effective.

The hotel proposes free activities (paddle, canoe-cayak, opening a coconut...) everyday, and others chargeable: we tried the 6 hour tour of the lagoon. This is very well organized and you don't feel bored at any time. Even if this is very tourist oriented, you can discover 3 areas of the lagoon with different sea environment and animals. The lunch is traditional and very good. The team is very pleasant and professional.

The hotel is located on a motu: silence, dark night and lagoon. This is magic. The sunrise (6h00) and sunset (18h30) are beautiful. The lagoon is beautiful (even if you can find a more colorful coral barrier in eastern Red Sea). Just outside our bungalow, when swimming/snorkeling at 7 to 8.30am, we saw sharks (from 30cm to 1 meter, not dangerous for humans), sting rays, murens (black, white), and many species of fish.

Environment: all staff is focused on environment preservation and the hotel supports a NGO with coral farms you can see when swimmimg.

The hotel is very clean as well as the lagoon.

We got a late check-out and the Conrad team gave us a sea-shell necklace upon departure (tradition) and sailed us back to the airport. Very well organized.

The staff is always smiling, customer focused, doing its best for the guests. May be one of the best staff of all the hotels we stayed in for the past 10 years (including other Conrads).

For those who want to have a different experience, away from everything but still in a luxurious environment, we recommand this hotel.

Paradise on earth!

Room Tip: A bungalow is ideal for those who an afford.

From the incredibly accommodating staff to the most remarkable views, Conrad Bora Bora Nui is beyond a 5 star resort in my book. We stayed for a total of 13 days and we never ran out of things to do or see. Every staff member was kind and offered exceptional service throughout our stay.

We opted to book the overwater bungalow with a private plunge pool and made great use out of hanging out on our deck in the evenings to enjoy the amazing views.

We visited with a party of about 20 people to attend a wedding on site and were treated beautifully, no requests were turned down. We even rented an entire private island and just played in the water while the personal staff waited on us, served us lunch and champagne in the South Pacific!

Room Tip: Get out and explore! We partook in many adventures offered and had the most amazing stay!

My husband and I recently returned from an amazing adventure in Bora Bora. We went for the Christmas holiday thru New Years. It was our first time running away from family and friends for a romantic vacation as 2017 was a busy year for both of us. We selected The Conrad as it is the newest 5 Star hotel in Bora Bora. It sits on its own island and is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever experienced (we are seasoned travelers so this is saying alot). The over water villas are very comfortable and elegant. We had one with our own private pool. Transportation at this large resort is offered thru golf cart pick up or bicycling to and from the villas to the main area. I want to say that the cocktails are expensive, however delicious. The food was good not excellent however, the accommodations, activities, decor, staff and willingness by all to "serve their guests" was incredible. The resort has a putting green, lovely gym and fantastic and I mean, fantastic spa. The real charm of The Conrad is the lagoon and ocean where the waters are aqua blue and calm so much so that one can swim safely all the way around the resort. I highly recommend The Conrad as the French and Tahitian staff knew how to make their guests feel at home. Ask for Adrian (the Chief Butler) upon arrival as he we ensure your every wish comes true. I have to also give a big thank you to the hardworking concierges who made the water taxi pick ups and off-property activities easy to maneuver. It was one of the best vacations with perfect weather (a couple of rain showers in the afternoons to cool things down). The humidity is high, the sun is strong so be prepared to wear sunscreen and a rash guard to save your skin. We brought water shoes, and water gloves and created our own daily water aerobics by jumping in right off our fabulous deck. This is truly a beautiful resort with much to offer young, old, little, big, foreign or local. The best of the best.

Room Tip: Ask for the over water bungalows. We loved our room at the end of the property as the views were amazing at sundown.

Having stayed at the Conrad in the Maldives, my traveling companions and I expected quite a lot from the Conrad Bora Bora and the hotel did not disappoint.

The hotel has recently been renovated, it's in an excellent, peaceful location, its staffing is top notch and it has a damned hard/fun mini golf course on site (!), which amused us more than we expected. Though the hotel was quite full during our stay, we barely noticed and the place often seemed as if it was our own. The singer and keyboardist in residence at the sushi bar/jazz venue are really top notch (my partner is a professional musician and only had good things to say).

The real reason to choose a Conrad over other resorts though is the attentiveness of the staff. For instance, though the room was booked under my name (and Hilton Diamond Status), upon check in the staff noticed that my partner also has Gold Status and that it was his birthday a day earlier. They upgraded us to a very nice room without our saying a word and brought us a nice bottle of Bordeaux to the room. The staff also remember you and your preferences (particular tables at breakfast, how you take your coffee, etc.) It makes for a very enjoyable vacation.

My only complaint about the Conrad Bora Bora is that the food is pricey, though not much more so than other hotels in French Polynesia, and that the buffet breakfast did not vary much from day to day, but that's me being picky.

If you go, be sure to take a trip up the hill to the spa. The view is incredible and the massages are excellent.
