This was our first trip to Bisbee; we wanted a long weekend away from the Phoenix summer heat, and had yet to visit this part of Arizona. We chose this place particularly because we decided to travel with our dog, a 55-lb active dog. We wanted to be someplace where we would feel comfortable leaving her for a few hours to shop, dine, or explore and not worry about her, and many hotels insist that you cannot leave your dog in the room when you are gone. We also wanted a place where we could just relax and enjoy the views and cooler air.
It was absolutely the right decision! Maggie was very accommodating especially after the room we booked ended up being too small for the three of us. Our suite (because it was a living room, kitchen area with full-sized fridge and stove, and a bedroom) was perfect, with a comfortable bed. We loved how the rooms were decorated.
The garden is lovely, quiet, and peaceful. It was exactly the restorative spot we were looking for. It's close enough to the center of town for shopping, dining, and touring the old mine. If you want easy, laid back, and quiet, then this is the spot for you. We will definitely be back to stay in our favorite room!More
