Description: Old Cash Store is a family run, Week-End Country Restaurant and Pub and Venue in the beautiful Sardinia Bay Conservancy, situated minutes away from the Sardinia Bay Beach and 10 Minutes from Walmer CBD. We offer unpretentious and nutritious country food, Pub snacks and delicious Wood Fired Pizzas. Our Sunday Bountiful Buffet is supreme. There are two dining rooms with fire places for chilly days, a stunning deck for good days and lovely gardens and a beer garden. We specialise in Weddings, mellow functions and gatherings or corporate events and year end functions. Our Christmas buffet is legendary. The pub is cosy and has a big TV for sport. We have the Indoor Evening Market at Old Cash Store around the second Saturday of each month from 3 to 7pm which offers our Usual array of fab foods, Banting and organic goods, leather bags, jewelry, local organic honey, organic soaps and body products, clothing and a great, mellow ambiance. We really enjoy visiting the Old Cash Store restaurant when it runs over weekends and especially when it is open at the same time as the monthly craft market. The setting is rustic, warm and friendly. A large buffet is available on the craft market nights and seems to vary a bit with each visit. Always present on the buffet is the Old Cash Store Pizza's that they are well know for, roast chicken, lamb, potatoes, rice, stunning sweet potato bread, salad, mixed veg and a curry too, all very tasty home cooked food. Recommend you book a table for the busy craft market Friday evening dinner and market combination. There is an extensive bar, and you can bring your own wine for a small corkage. Sit on the deck to enjoy the last rays of the stunning summer sunsets.

If you want value for you money then this restaurant should be your choice. From starting with home made sweet potato bread and soup to 4 different choices of meat plus veggies plus choices of pudding. Every single dish was tasty and you never have to fear that they going to run out of a dish or whether the dish is going to be cold. The atmosphere was relaxed and what made it also cosy was two fires burning. This restaurant is also kiddies friendly which makes it a lovely family outing. I will for sure go back and will also recommend them to my friends. Mandy also told me of their Bargain Buffet for R89 on a Saturday evening. Check out their facebook page. For pensioners they also give R20 discount so for all young and old this is really good value for your money.

If you are looking for wholesome home cooked meals, look no further than the buffet. The food was not only freshly prepared, it is also good for the health conscious, with a great sweet potato bread, a sure favourite for any banters. There were a variety of vegetable dishes and meat dishes for the main course, all of which were very tasty. Hats off to the staff for replenishing the dishes. Definitely great value for money in a very relaxed dining atmosphere.

Always a popular favorite for large or small family Sunday lunches. Staff are accommodating and food is as good as a home-made Sunday roast. Very worth the reasonable price and even offer pensioner and child discounts.
Can't fault it, may just be good to change up the menu occasionally for those of us who visit quite often.
