Description: Bridge Street Brewery is set inside a converted warehouse in Port Elizabeth's historical Baakens Valley. It was born out of the love of great beer by the father of craft beer and Master Brewer, Lex Mitchell and his team of expert brewers. We wanted to invite people into the brewing process so that customers could smell the amazing hops and malts that go into making our beer while you enjoy a pizza and a pint. All our products are produced using only the finest of local and imported ingredients and an amalgam of traditional British mashing and German lagering techniques. The beers are delivered to your glass directly from our storage tanks - it doesn't get much fresher!

Went on a date with my partner recently and initially was disappointed with the chicken pie I ordered was off. I suspect the pie had been sitting for awhile as the mushroom in the pie tasted off. The chef said too much salt had been added whilst it was being made but I'm sure that was just an excuse to save face. My partners chicken schnitzel was brilliant and well cooked!!! Maxine the waiter who was serving us was very apologetic and substituted my chicken pie for pizza which was rather delicious. Overall (barring the pie) the Bridge Street Brewery experience is good.

Came here with a large group (around 30) for my birthday dinner celebrations. Setting is lovely, service is attentive and the food superb. Great choice of their own brewed beers as well as an excellent list of cocktails. Ideal place to spend the evening- highly recommended!

The place is enormous, but with only 2 ladies toilets, I would hate to go there when it is packed full. The downer for us was the food. The chicken and brie was just that. 2 small slices of cold brie sitting on the plate next to the chicken breast that was smothered in an awful sauce. Couldn't the brie at least have been melted over the chicken? Raw enormous chunks of sweet potato. The place was very quiet, but the food took 40 minutes to come. Staff seem energised and trained
