The emcee/host made homophobic, outdated and disgusting jokes that ruined my night. After driving an hour to get there and spending my (gay) dollars on this business, it was unconfortable, unfunny and humiliating to hear discourse that bordered on gay shaming and bashing. This kind of humor has no place in this day and age. I left the restaurant halfway through dinner furious and humiliated. I would recommend not supporting this homophobic establishment.

What an exciting night out. We chose the best venue to celebrate Edwards birthday. The night begins when you change into your medieval attire, you have so many great options to choose from. The service and entertainment was great, the host was funny and engaging.

It's best to enjoyed with a group of friends, not ideal for a date.

What a blast! The most fun we had in a long time. Great food, excellent craft beers and a master of ceremonie-Baron- had us in stitches.
We were even king and queen for the evening. You have to dress up though. All the different costumes. Felt like going back in time, From the costumes to the decor to to wenches!
Highly recommended for any function or party.

On arrival you are shown to a dressing area where you get to choose a costume and dress up for a medieval banquet... that is where the fun begins!
The entertainment was great, adult humour would best describe it. I was surprised to see that some people brought their young children? I would not advise or recommend taking children, not to the evening dinners anyway, maybe the Sunday lunch is a better option for families? I would also suggest going in a crowd, definitely not for a romantic evening out.
The meal was fabulous! There are 3 menu options to choose from when making the reservation, offering different price options. Roast chicken and medium rare whole sirloin with roast potatoes and veg, etc. was very well prepared.
The serving staff were superb, and kept both the food and drinks flowing.
Lots of fun, and perfect for birthday celebrations!

We booked at "The Kings Table" for the special event and were not disappointed by the venue, cuisine or the service! Period costume is on hire at the venue ( we were advised that each costume is cleaned after every wearing) and it really sets the tone. Events are presided over by "The Baron" who does an excellent job in keeping the party going. Food is served in stages and is generally of good quality and of ample quantity. It is mostly eaten by fingers although soup, or rather broth, is drunk straight from the bowl. Mead, a brew made from honey, is served in goblets, the 1st goblet being in with the all-in- price which one pays. Further drinks are at your own discretion for which there is a tab system. The venue decor is period with a huge roaring fire on cold days. Altogether a great experience. If there is a downside, most of the entertainment is self generated by The Baron, with the addition of a guitar playing " minstrel" I have seen and heard better! Altogether an experience to be treasured, especially for a special event. I would not recommend going as a couple, but rather as part of a bigger party.
