Since the new owners have taken over, the place had been revamped and looks much nicer.
The fish and sea food is of a very high quality. I have ordered take away's, and recently had a sit down lunch with my good lady. The calamari was tender and the fish done to a T. Chips were also really nice.
Atmosphere is relaxing, service is good , preparation time is acceptable. Presentation is appealing, and the taste and texture up to standard. Pricing is also quite reasonable.

Always a treat. The service was a little slow as it was super busy. The new owners have done a great job in maintaining the ambiance of a local caffe. They have access to the Lebanese resturant next door - same owners and the food is fantastic as well. So a great option as you can order from both menus.
Prices are good value. Good family treat

First time visit to Fisherman's kitchen and the food is good.
We shared chicken livers for starters - served with rice which is unusual and you pay extra for bread but nonetheless it was tasty.
We had sole and calamari for mains and both were well prepared with excellent chips and the most amazing tartar sauce!
Overall a good tasting meal - i thought prices are higher than average but you can take your own wine (corkage is only r30) which then makes it more cost effective.

We went as a group of five couples with three kids for Sunday lunch. We ordered a wide variety of seafood, salads and desserts.

The food was excellent, the service very good and atmosphere light and airy. I, however, have to agree with a previous review that it was a bit pricey given the portion sizes. If the price, portion and quality balance was better I would have been inclined to rate it as excellent.

Make no mistake, this is a very good place for fish, calamari and chips.

We will visit again.

Nicely renovated shop. Take and chips were delicious! Salad was pricey as it was really just lettuce. Service was good and the place had a lot of customers. One of the better fish and chips around I will try the prawns next time
