The vineyard never fails to disappoint. Great bar area for sundowners or sushi. Romantic dinner venue with fantastic food. Luxurious rooms with stunning mountain views. Superbly helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Nothing to fault this hotel.

Vineyard is our favourite Getaway retreat.

Always classy and great service in beautiful surroundings. We never had a bad experience and this is our hotel of choice when we are celebrating a special event.

We are pleased that The Vineyard is the venue of choice for celebrating a special event. One of the views that keeps me in awe of the location is the view of the mountain from the Patio.

Hope to see you back here soon.

Kind regards

Really beautiful old hotel in the heart of Newlands. Rooms were done out very stylishly. Breakfast was awesome, the choice was huge. Staff very accommodating. Great to get back to the hotel after a night out and still have a coffee or drink in the bar area at 1 am in the morning. I enjoyed staying for the first time in the leafy suburbs instead of the city center, great places to eat nearby. Very central.

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel as I only heard good things. I must say that I was not disappointed.

We spent two nights at the Vineyard Hotel and Spa and I wish we could stay longer! This hotel has an immense history and it is a combination of old and new from historic buildings and décor to modern touches and amenities. The service from check in to check out and everything in between was friendly and professional, a job well done!

We stayed in one of the Courtyard Facing Rooms, although these are the entry level rooms we still had ample space and all the amenities one would expect from a 4 star deluxe hotel or even 5 star hotel. Our room had a bath and shower in the bathroom and amenities like a mini bar, Nespresso machine and more. Although we did not have the mountain views we still looked out onto a beautiful courtyard with stunning gardens. Breakfast at the hotel was just as good and the continental selection is large and the A La Carte selection was just right.

We also explored the gardens of the hotel and I was truly impressed, the gardens are big enough to find a secluded corner and just relax while reading a book. You can even book a guide tour of the gardens should you wish to do so. The views onto the side of Table Mountain was also amazing and it truly did not feel as if we were even close to the busy city center.

I can recommend the Vineyard Hotel and Spa to the sophisticated traveler who is looking for that something different to your standard city hotel.

Room tip: As mentioned we stayed in a Courtyard Room, but if you want views I would recommend one of the Maintain Rooms.

It starts with the helpfullness of ALL the staff. They help, ask and attend to be very friendly. The breakfast buffet is fully equipt with everything you can ask or wish for. Ordere roomservice and everything was great. Used the gym which was quit fine i prefered some more space there but for a hotel-gym more then suitable

Room tip: Pick a room with mountain sight
