A variety of meals to choose from and a short wait to hot and tasty food. Portions are large and one can share. I was very impressed with the selection on their menu. Service can be improved as well as the cleanliness.

Being close to our working place at Rivonia, this South Indian veg restaurant was our base for lunch for around 4 weeks. In short the overall experiences were mixed-bag. Service was inconsistent & average, serving time is relatively slow. At times roti was served at the end after rice and vegetables etc. They have various options in their menu. Barring dosa and thali, most of the times we ordered north Indian preparations like panner, veg dishes, fried / plain rice, roti etc. The items are relatively pricy like roti in the rage of R12 to R19, steamed rice, fried rice, biryani etc. are in the rage of R21 to R65, masala dosa are in the range of R53 to R65, main dishes are in the range of R55 to R65 etc. The food were reasonably tasty, though at times gravy of different dishes tasted by & large same. As far as dosa are concerned, paper dosa was of king size - a hit, but mysore masala was a let-down, not crispy, the chutney & sambar had ordinary taste. This restaurant seems to be rigid on public dealing, for instance one day we asked for onion with paper masala dosa which was not part of the menu, they denied instead advised us to order onion masala dosa, etc. Such instance was generally not experienced during our visit to other Indian Restaurant. Overall a good option for Indian food, but could have been better.

this is a good place for south Indian vegetarian food and some varieties of Indo Chinese. The menu is extensive. The food quality and portions are good and reasonably priced. The décor is simple. Does get a bit noisy if the restaurant is full. The service is fast and staff are quick.
The Thalis are all you can eat (the waiters don's tell you this)

A wide variety of starter and main course vegetarian dishes. South Indian as well as Chinese selection. Order a few dishes and try the different tastes of India. The special offers a thali with 10 different curries, raita, rice and bread. This is also refilled if needed. Fresh fruit juice bar. Staff although courteous, are not well trained. You will need to seek their attention for service
