We spent 6 nights at the lodge and went for game drives through their private reserve twice each day. Marnu, our ranger, was a first class guide. He always put the animals' comfort and safety first. He was very knowledgeable about the entire ecosystem – everything from reptiles, insects, birds and plants to the animals. The Heritage Suite rooms were spacious and comfortable. The landscaping through out the property was beautiful.
I would make a few suggestions:
1. Ranger guided bird and horticulture tours would be a good addition to the slate of offerings and could be scheduled for the down time between game drives.
2. The food could use an upgrade. It was fine and there was always plenty of it, but it wasn’t very fresh. The salad bar in particular lacked imagination.More
