We arrived here on our wedding night at around 10 pm.
It had been a long day and we were exhausted however when we go to the counter to check in they had difficult locating our booking and after considerable back and forth between the staff they eventually confirmed and we were led to our rooms. the paths are not very well lit and in formal shoes was a bit slippery. We enjoyed a decent breakfast and had a leisurely morning. Towards the afternoon we confirmed our arrangements for a mangwanani massage in our room. This was the best part of our entire experience and the best part of our stay here. The massage was really good and split into 3 parts with our starters mains and dessert meals served after each phase of the massage. the food was exceptionally good and we were exhausted by the end yet very relaxed. The rooms are really well furnished and exceptionally plush. the service is generally good, though not great and there is a very authentic feel of being in the wilderness - we had to get the odd bug and wasp out of our room on a few occasions.More
