This restaurant is situated in Kleinkaap hotel. The website and Instagram ads suggested it was a fine dining place. Although the food didn't look like the photos, it was extraordinary. I had venison pie, which I struggled to finish it was so much, and my brother had the burger. He said it was in the top 3 he'd ever had. Prices were reasonable for the place, the surroundings were outstanding and very peaceful, and the restaurant manager, Prince, was very helpful and friendly. I expect they will see a lot of me there.

From the website it seemed like this is a fine-dining restaurant, but that was not really my experience. Although they went through some effort to set a table in the middle of the lawn surrounded by beautiful big trees, the food was somewhat average. The calamari risotto was very good as a starter, but the duck breast fell short as a main with the meat not being of the quality I've had before at other restaurants. The dessert was good, but there was a little live worm on the plate, probably from the edible flowers - and the manager did credit 50% of the dessert cost after I showed this to the waiter.

We went for restaurant week and were treated to fabulous food artfully presented. The waiters are attentive but not intrusive. Extensive wine list with interesting varietals and good wine by the glass options. Beautiful lush green gardens take you far from the maddening crowd. Fairy lights make for a romantic feel in the evenings. The interior in wood and stone is understated, stylish but not pretentious. Will definitely be back for tranquility, good food and wine.

Took my family out for a lazy lunch after a busy two days of entertaining guests over Diwali. The beautiful garden and excellent wine selection certainly brings a winelands vibe to Centurion. The food is top-notch and our waiter, Isaac was exceptional. Always making sure we were well looked after, the manager also regularly checked up on us. I was most impressed by the quality and service and I will most certainly return.

This restaurant has only been open for a month and can have alot of potential. The starter of Lobster Bisque was delicious and very generous in size. The venison was a bit tough but really enjoyed the panna cotta. The setting is Cape Dutch and we were looking forward to sitting outside in the beautiful gardens with the fairy lights. Unfortunately we had to be seated inside due to a wedding. The inside venue is very old fashioned and furniture was not very comfortable and took away from what could have been a far better experience.
