Has potentially everything that you would want but nothing seems to work. No money changing facilities.Advertise 3 restaurants when only have 1 which you have to book well in advance or catch a bus to a 3.5 star hotel for a meal plus it's very cold waiting for said bus that can take 20 minutes. Claim you can charge things like golf back to your room yet never seems to happen which is never a good thing when you cannot change currency . Need to line up for a table to go for breakfast, plumbing in the room is in desperate need of attention, took 5hr 20min to play a round of golf, all in all had a terrible time

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool give a marvellous view

We had a lovely 3 days at this amazing hotel. Not only the Hotel offers plenty to keep you busy, the garden, wave pool and shopping centre offer vast array of activities. A bit further away the Extreme Activity opportunity to quad bike, shooting or go-carting.
Friendly staff and all transport from Hotel to any activity is free and very regular.
Great hotel rooms with super beds too tempting not to get up on time.

Visited this place for a friend's stag do, and although the place was very nice and we'll set out, I felt that the rooms were slightly tired and in need of a rejuvenation.

The restaurant, staff and setting for the palace were amazing, and we were blown away by this.

The only things that let this down for me were the hotel rooms and the transfers from other hotels late at night was very slow. Ended up waiting over 40 minutes one night for transport to the palace from the casino. This might not sound like the worst thing in the world, but when all of the other hotels had one or two busses come in this time, I did feel like we had the shirt straw

You can't help but be bowled over when you first check in. The place is magnificent in terms of decor. The staff are welcoming and I couldn't believe one if the taxi drivers knew my name. The taxi Service is impressive. On the downside the plumbing needs a bit of a sort out as the shower had a few problems. The air con was quite noisy at night and at breakfast they definitely need more staff. Restaurant choices were quite limited. The one posh restaurant had closed down which was a shame. We ate at Bukabang lodge one night which was our best meal by far.

The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City might be a bit of a Grand Dame in the mod, fashionable world of luxury hotels but the outdated room decor is eclipsed by the five star service, friendly staff and fine dining. The newly renovated pool area is amazing, as is the breakfast spread at the Crystal Court. A few more vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet, in-room dining and restaurants would be nice. Regardless, an wonderful luxurious getaway in the African Bush.

This is such a beautiful place when you arrive, the decor, the buildings the staff are all amazing.
However, our first morning there we went to breakfast and there was water dripping on our table from the roof, we couldn't move to another table as there was no space.
We had constant problems with our air con as it was not working, we were moved to another room and the air-con in that room was not working either. The maintenance staff said that this is a constant complaint that they have.
on the last night there my husbands wallet was stolen from our room we were very lucky that the manager did some investigations and was able to get it back.
