We picked Four Rosmead because it was just around the corner from the flat where are traveling friends were staying. It was a great choice.

Our room was pleasant and comfortable with a view of the pool. Service was unobtrusive, efficient and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Off street parking was provided which was very nice.

Our Cape Town friends suggested maybe Four Rosmead was a bit expensive and that might be, but you know the price going in and certainly won't be disappointed in the quality of your stay.

My wife and I started our honeymoon in this lovely boutique hotel. It is perfectly situated in Cape Town with great access to Camps Bay, Table Mountain and the V&A waterfront. They have managed to combine the cosy feel of a small B&B with the 5 star luxury service you would expect from a top class hotel. However we did feel it was slightly cheeky to ask for tips for the staff on check out. It isn’t a cheap hotel so we expected this excellent service as part of the package. This did however not detract from the amazing time we had.

Dear Richard,

My apologies if you misunderstood our farewell letter. In the past we have had guests asking who they should give the gratuities to and so we have only noted that if you would like to leave a tip to give it to one of the managers on duty so that it is distributed fairly among the staff. It is not us requesting a gratuity at all. The gratuity is always at the guests discretion.

Farewell letter Paragraph
"If you believe that the service at Four Rosmead has been exceptional and that you would like to leave a gratuity, please feel free to do so by giving it to Jade, Nadine, Sonja, Patrick or John to ensure that it is distributed among the staff appropriately."

We stayed in one of the two rooms adjacent to the main house. The accommodations were great. This B&B is off the beaten path, in a neighbor, close to an emergency care facility. We enjoyed coming back to a quiet room after a busy day sightseeing and visiting the waterfront. The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was truly delicious.

My wife and I visited Cape Town for 3 nights before going on safari. Four Rosmead was a wonderful place to stay - beautiful rooms with high ceilings and a view of Lions Head, amazing continental and freshly cooked breakfast from the menu, and brilliant staff who go out of their way to help you. Sonya arranged a visit to the Cheetah Outreach centre and a tour of the winelands with their driver, George, who was superb. Great value for money, and quick and easy to get into the V&A waterfront/Camps Bay in an Uber.

The Four Rosemead is small hotel in a residential neighborhood. With that being said it is not isolated because there are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is a historic structure that has gone through a wonderful update to give it modern day amenities while keeping historic charm. It is appointed with antiques from a previous owner’s collection along with art from South African artists that give it a feel of coming directly out of Architectural Digest. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The common areas give you the feel of being in someone’s home. A buffet or cooked breakfast is included with the price of the room. The food is scrumptious and plentiful. Nothing better than watching the sun come up on the glass porch sipping a cup of good strong coffee. The staff, including Jade and Sophie, are eager and capable of booking any tour for you or simply sorting out a problem. The hotel quickly feels like home when staying there. I wish I had more than three days to stay.
